Each chair is handcrafted so the parts fit snugly together, then sanded for a smooth finish that's ready to place outside as soon as it's assembled. The combination of a wide pocket seat and fully curved back is part of the brand's attention to seating comfort, while the 7 inch arm paddles reflect a practical approach to outdoor furniture design.

Delivery and installation

The Athena Adirondack ships at 19 lb and requires full assembly once it arrives, so expect the chair to come packed as cedar components and hardware rather than fully built. Plan for an area with enough room to assemble the chair at its finished 36 inches wide by 36 inches deep by 37 inches tall footprint before moving it into place on your patio or deck. Because the wood is handcrafted with snug-fitting parts, following the included assembly steps in order will help everything come together cleanly.
