Description
The Maya Bath Platinum Comfort Steam Shower is designed for shoppers who want to combine a full steam shower and a soaking bathtub inside a single footprint, without climbing over a tub wall to get in. At 55" x 55" x 88", the unit is sized for a dedicated bathroom or wellness room rather than a standard tub alcove, and works well for anyone replacing a separate shower and bathtub with one all-in-one fixture. The patented Select Series walk-in design keeps entry level with the floor, which can make daily use easier for people who find stepping over a tub rim difficult.
Features
- Touch screen control panel for managing the unit's functions
- 5kW steam generator with a self-cleaning function
- 38 whirlpool and body massage jets built into the heated bathtub
- Overhead LED rainfall shower with chromotherapy lighting
- 3D circulative opposite hydro-massage for a full-body shower experience
- Underwater lighting and a Bluetooth connectivity center for streaming music and shows
- Stainless steel framing and fixtures throughout the enclosure
- Patented Select Series design allows walk-in access without stepping over the tub wall
Maya Bath quality
Maya Bath supports the Platinum Comfort with a 10 Year warranty, and the unit is finished with stainless steel framing and fixtures for the shower and tub hardware. The Select Series walk-in configuration is a patented design, pairing a heated whirlpool bathtub with a full steam shower in one footprint, a combination not typically found in standard steam shower units. The overhead LED rainfall shower, chromotherapy lighting, and 3D circulative opposite hydro-massage work together with the whirlpool jets to create a multi-function bathing and showering system in a single enclosure.
Delivery and installation
The Platinum Comfort ships from the manufacturer via flat-rate freight at $499 within the US, regardless of the color chosen. It is offered in White, Black, and Gray, each in a single door configuration, so the main decision is finish rather than layout. Because this is a large, plumbed, and wired fixture with a steam generator, whirlpool jets, and touch screen controls, confirm your bathroom's doorway width, floor space, and available electrical and water connections before delivery, and plan for professional installation of the plumbing and electrical connections needed to operate the steam generator, jets, and lighting.
