How to Choose a Bathroom Vanity
Start with the wall, not the product photo. Measure the full width available, then leave room for the door swing, the toilet, a towel bar and any outlet or switch that must stay reachable. Measure depth from the finished wall to your walking path, because a vanity that crowds a narrow bathroom feels bigger than it is. Most bathroom vanities in this collection are 22 in deep; the compact 20 in and 24 in Laurel and Castor bases are 17.75 in deep, and the 24 in Geneva is 19 in deep, which helps in tight powder rooms.
Next, locate your plumbing. Note where the drain and supply lines come out of the wall or floor and compare that with the cabinet layout. Drawer-heavy vanities store a lot, but they leave less open space around pipes, so check the product images and specs before you commit. Then decide how many sinks you need. One sink suits most hall and guest baths; two sinks make a shared primary bath run smoother on busy mornings.
- Single sink: offered across most widths, including 30 in, 36 in, 48 in and 60 in models.
- Double sink: starts at 48 in with the Dukes double-sink layout, continues with Legion Furniture's 60" double vanities, and runs up to 102 in with Coraline.
- What's included: listings titled "with ... Top" come with a countertop and sink, and Legion Furniture vanities include their stone top. "Vanity Base" listings focus on the cabinet, so confirm the configuration before you order.
Bathroom Vanity Sizes and Dimensions
Widths in this collection run from 20 in to 102 in. Use this guide to narrow the grid, then confirm the exact W x D x H on each product page.
- 20 in and 24 in: Laurel and Castor bases start at 20 in; Geneva and Lafarre start at 24 in. Browse 24 inch bathroom vanities for small baths.
- 30 in: a popular single-sink width, offered in Laurel, Castor, Geneva, Lafarre, Marsyas and Dukes.
- 36 in: many Legion Furniture cabinets plus Laurel, Castor, Geneva, Lafarre and Zilara. See 36 inch bathroom vanities.
- 48 in: single-sink models from both brands, plus a Dukes double-sink option. Shop 48 inch bathroom vanities.
- 60 in: pick a single sink with generous counter space or a double such as Legion Furniture's WH2960-D. Compare 60 inch bathroom vanities.
- 72 in to 84 in: Laurel, Castor, Geneva, Dukes, Marsyas and Zilara. Zilara also comes in in-between widths of 42 in and 55 in.
- 92 in and 102 in: Coraline, with two undermounted ceramic sinks and up to 14 full-extension drawers.
Height affects everyday comfort. Most full-height models here measure between 33.25 in tall (Dukes) and 35.75 in (Legion Furniture's 36" Ebony vanity with its 2" thick top). Wall-hung and floating cabinets are shorter boxes: Castor runs 19.25 to 19.37 in tall and most Geneva sizes are 19 in, so your installer sets the final counter height when mounting. Also check weight before delivery day: Laurel bases range from 89.5–442 lb depending on size, and even a 36" Legion Furniture vanity starts at 148 lb.
Freestanding, Wall-Hung or Floating?
Freestanding vanities sit on the floor like furniture. They hide plumbing, are usually the simplest swap for an existing vanity, and give you the most enclosed storage. Dukes is a freestanding design, and full-height cabinets such as Laurel and the Legion Furniture range sit on the floor as well.
Wall-hung and floating vanities mount to the wall and leave the floor open, which makes a small bathroom feel larger and makes cleaning underneath easy. Castor is wall-hung and Geneva is a floating design. They need solid support inside the wall and plumbing positioned for a raised cabinet, so they fit best into a remodel rather than a quick replacement.
Countertops, Cabinets and Finishes
The top takes the daily wear, so choose it with your household in mind.
- Carrara Marble: natural stone with soft grey veining, hand-finished and sealed twice by Lexora. Like any natural marble, it rewards quick cleanup of toothpaste, cosmetics and cleaners.
- Cultured marble: an engineered surface with a marble look that Lexora lists as scratch and stain resistant.
- White Quartz and Grey Quartz: engineered quartz with a consistent pattern and easy upkeep; Grey Quartz is offered on Marsyas.
- Castle Grey Marble: a darker stone used on the Zilara collection.
- White artificial stone: the 1" thick top on most Legion Furniture vanities; one Legion model pairs a 2" thick White Natural top with an Ebony Dark Brown cabinet.
Underneath, Lexora cabinets use solid wood frames with MDF or E0 plywood panels, arrive fully assembled, and many collections are listed as cUPCus certified. Many Lexora tops are pre-drilled for an 8 in widespread faucet, so choose a widespread faucet or order the matching faucet configuration. Hardware is Brushed Gold on Laurel and Castor and brushed nickel on Dukes, Geneva and Lafarre, which makes it easy to coordinate with your lighting and fixtures.
Finishes range from warm wood tones such as Brown Oak, Brown Birch, Rustic Acacia and Espresso to Black Birch, Dark Grey, Glossy White and Navy Blue. Shop by color in white bathroom vanities or blue bathroom vanities.

Caring for Your Vanity
- Wipe up splashes and standing water promptly, especially along cabinet edges, doors and the base.
- Clean tops and finishes with mild soap and a soft cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh chemicals.
- Treat natural marble gently and reseal it as recommended in the care instructions; quartz and cultured marble need less upkeep.
- Run the bathroom fan during and after showers to keep humidity away from wood cabinets.
- If a door drifts out of line, use the concealed adjustable hinges to realign it.
