Floor Mirrors

Find a floor mirror that works as both a dressing tool and a statement piece. This collection brings together three full-length designs from RenWil. Each has an iron frame and comes with hanging hardware. Two are oval mirrors on white marble or white terrazzo bases, and one is a self-standing rectangular frame in matte black. They suit bedrooms, closets, entryways and living rooms where you want a head-to-toe view without giving up much floor space. Prices start from $801, and every mirror here qualifies for free shipping within the contiguous United States.

How to Choose a Floor Mirror

A floor mirror does two jobs. It lets you check your whole outfit head to toe, and it works as a large decorative piece that bounces light around a room. Decide which job matters most to you, then work through these questions.

  • Where will it stand? Bedrooms, walk-in closets, entryways and living rooms each need a different footprint. A narrow hallway needs a slim, shallow mirror. A bedroom corner can take a deeper base.
  • Freestanding or wall-mounted? All three mirrors in this collection come with hanging hardware. You can stand one on the floor now and mount it later if your layout changes.
  • Shape. Oval mirrors soften a room full of straight lines like beds, dressers and door frames. A rectangular mirror gives you the most usable reflection from edge to edge and suits modern or minimal rooms.
  • Frame finish. Match the metal to hardware already in the room. Brass tones warm up neutral palettes. Matte black adds contrast and works with almost any style.
  • Who will use it? If people of different heights share the mirror, a taller piece is the safer choice for a true full-length view.

Compare Our Floor Mirrors at a Glance

Every floor mirror in this collection is made by RenWil with an iron frame. Here is how the three models differ, based on the manufacturer's listed specifications.

ModelShapeFrame finishBase / standDimensionsNet weight
RenWil Taio Oval Mirror (MT2341)OvalPainted antique brassWhite marble freestanding base19"W x 8.5"D x 71"H25 lb.
RenWil Vawn Oval Mirror (MT2518)OvalMatte blackWhite terrazzo freestanding base18"W x 11.75"D x 70"H25.5 lb.
RenWil Samira Rectangular Mirror (MT2540)RectangularMatte blackSelf-standing frame, KD20"W x 15"D x 61"H31.9 lb.

In short: the Taio is the tallest and the shallowest, so it fits tight spots well. The Vawn is the narrowest and nearly as tall, with a slightly deeper terrazzo base. The Samira is the shortest, but it has the widest and deepest footprint and the heaviest build, which gives it a solid, planted feel.

Frames, Bases and Finishes

Iron frames

All three mirrors use iron frames. Iron is strong for its thickness, so the frame around the glass can stay thin and graphic instead of bulky. That is why these designs look light even at full height.

Painted antique brass vs. matte black

The Taio's painted antique brass finish has a warm, slightly aged glow. It pairs well with wood furniture, cream or beige textiles, and other brass or gold accents. Matte black, used on the Vawn and the Samira, is the more versatile choice. It frames your reflection with crisp contrast in a light room and blends into darker color schemes. A matte surface also tends to hide fingerprints better than a glossy one.

Marble and terrazzo bases

The Taio stands on a white marble base and the Vawn on a white terrazzo base. A stone base keeps the weight low, which helps a tall, narrow mirror stand upright without leaning on a wall. Natural marble has its own veining, so each base can look slightly different. Terrazzo is made of stone chips set in a binder. Its speckled pattern adds texture and a playful, design-forward look. The Vawn was designed by Jennifer Attie.

Self-standing rectangular frame

The Samira stands on its own and needs no wall mounting. It is listed as KD (knock-down), which means it ships partly disassembled, so plan on some simple assembly when it arrives.

Floor Mirror Sizes: Full Length, Oversized and Slim Spaces

Most people shopping for a full-length floor mirror want to see themselves head to toe without stepping far back. Two things decide that: the height of the mirror and how far you can stand from it.

  • Measure the spot first. Note the width of the wall or corner, the clear floor in front of it, and any baseboards, outlets or door swings that could get in the way. Compare the listed depth of each mirror with your walkway.
  • Taller is more forgiving. The Taio at 71"H and the Vawn at 70"H give the most head-to-toe coverage in this collection. They suit shared bedrooms and dressing areas.
  • Wider is easier to use. The Samira, at 20"W, is the widest model here. Its rectangular glass uses the full width, which helps when you check an outfit from side to side.
  • Depth affects traffic flow. At 8.5"D, the Taio is the shallowest option for entryways and narrow halls. The Samira's 15"D footprint suits a corner or an open wall better.
  • Leave room to step back. The farther you can stand from a mirror, the more of yourself you see, so keep the floor in front of it clear.

A note on oversized floor mirrors: if you want a very wide mirror that fills a whole wall, this collection won't fit that need. Our current designs are tall and slim, which suits apartments, bedrooms and closets where floor space is limited. We also don't currently carry a floor mirror with storage or a scalloped frame. Each piece here is simply a mirror and its stand.

Placement ideas for living rooms and bedrooms

Put a floor mirror across from or next to a window to bounce daylight into a darker room. In a living room, an oval mirror at the end of a sofa or beside a console adds height and depth. In a bedroom, a spot near the closet or dresser makes getting dressed easier. Don't aim the mirror at clutter, because it doubles whatever it reflects.

How to Care for Your Floor Mirror

  • Glass: Spray glass cleaner on a soft, lint-free cloth instead of directly on the mirror. That keeps liquid from seeping into the edges and damaging the backing.
  • Iron frame: Dust with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh chemicals, which can scratch painted or matte finishes.
  • Marble and terrazzo: Wipe up spills quickly, especially acidic ones like juice, wine or perfume, and use a mild, pH-neutral cleaner. Stone can etch or stain if liquid sits on it.
  • Stability: Set freestanding mirrors on a level floor, away from busy corners where they could get bumped. Keep them away from children and pets who might climb. If you have any doubt, use the included hanging hardware.
  • Humidity: Floor mirrors with iron frames and stone bases do best in dry living spaces. For a damp room, browse our bathroom mirror collection instead.

RenWil Floor Mirrors

Every floor mirror in this collection comes from RenWil, which makes mirrors, lighting and accent furniture. All three designs have an iron frame and come with hanging hardware, but each has its own style. The Taio is classic, with antique brass and marble. The Vawn pairs matte black with a terrazzo base. The Samira is clean and modern, with a matte black rectangular frame. All three list China as the country of origin and ship from the RenWil warehouse in Champlain, NY.

Frequently asked questions

What size floor mirror do I need for a full-length view?
Choose the tallest mirror your space allows, especially if people of different heights will use it. In our collection, the Taio stands 71"H and the Vawn 70"H. The Samira is 61"H but is the widest at 20"W. Measure your wall or corner first and leave open floor in front of it, because standing farther back lets you see more of yourself.
Can I hang a floor mirror on the wall instead of standing it?
Yes. All three floor mirrors in this collection come with hanging hardware, so you can stand one now and wall-mount it later. The Taio and Vawn stand on freestanding stone bases. The Samira is self-standing and needs no wall mounting. If you do mount one, use anchors suited to your wall type, and ask a handy helper if you're unsure.
How long does it take to get a floor mirror?
RenWil mirrors usually ship within 10–15 business days from the RenWil warehouse in Champlain, NY, then take 3–5 business days in transit. You'll get an email with the carrier and delivery date after you order. All dates are estimates. Orders of $200 or more ship free within the contiguous United States, so every mirror here ships free.
Can I return a floor mirror if it doesn't suit my room?
Yes. We accept returns within 60 days from the delivery date if the item is unused, in the condition you received it, and in its original packaging. Email info@furnetta.com first to get a Return Authorization number. You pay for shipping both ways, and a 20% restocking fee applies. If your mirror arrives damaged, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos, and we'll fix it at no cost to you.
Do you sell oversized floor mirrors or floor mirrors with storage?
Not right now. Our current floor mirrors are tall, slim designs built for bedrooms, closets, entryways and living rooms where floor space is tight. None of them include storage, and none are extra-wide wall-filling mirrors. If you need a slim mirror that still gives you a head-to-toe view, the oval Taio and Vawn and the rectangular Samira are designed for that.
How do I clean a floor mirror with a marble or terrazzo base?
Spray glass cleaner on a soft, lint-free cloth, not on the mirror itself, so liquid doesn't seep into the edges. Dust the iron frame with a dry or slightly damp cloth and avoid abrasive pads. Wipe spills off the stone base right away and use a mild, pH-neutral cleaner, because acidic liquids can etch or stain marble and terrazzo.
Will a freestanding floor mirror tip over?
Stone bases like the Taio's white marble and the Vawn's white terrazzo keep the weight low, which helps a tall mirror stand steady. Place any floor mirror on a level surface, away from busy walkways, and out of reach of children or pets who might climb or pull on it. If you need extra security, use the included hanging hardware to mount it.
