How to Choose a Lexora Vanity

Start with the wall. Measure the width you have between side walls, the door swing and the toilet. Then pick the largest size that still leaves you comfortable room to move. Laurel and Castor bases come in 20 in, 24 in, 30 in, 36 in, 48 in, 60 in, 72 in, 80 in and 84 in. Coraline comes in 92 in and 102 in for large primary baths.

• Depth: The 20 in and 24 in Laurel and Castor bases are 17.75 in deep. From 30 in up, they're 22 in deep. In a tight powder room, the shallower cabinet keeps the walkway clear.
• Wall-hung or full-height: Castor is wall-hung, with a cabinet height of 19.25 in to 19.37 in. That opens up floor space and makes mopping easier, but plan for solid backing in the wall. Laurel cabinets are 33.75 in to 34.12 in tall.
• One sink or two: Laurel and Castor come with one or two sinks, depending on size. Dukes offers its 48 in model as either a single- or double-sink vanity. Coraline is a double-sink vanity.
• Complete set or base only: Most models come as vanity + top & sink, and you can add a faucet and matching mirror or mirrors. Laurel and Castor are also sold as a base only if you already have a top.
• Faucet drilling: Laurel, Castor and Dukes tops are pre-drilled for an 8 in. widespread faucet. Choose a three-hole widespread faucet such as the Balduina.

Laurel and Castor in 20 in and 24 in are sold as a base only. Versions with a top and sink start at 30 in.

Countertops and Cabinet Construction

Cultured marble is hand-polished and sealed twice. On the Dukes vanity it's described as scratch and stain resistant, and it's an easy-care choice for family bathrooms. White quartz is also polished and sealed twice and resists scratches and stains, so it's a good fit for busy daily use. Carrara marble is natural stone with veining that varies from piece to piece. It's hand-finished and sealed twice. Like any natural marble, it's more sensitive to acidic products, so it rewards a bit more care.

Castor cabinets use a solid wood frame with MDF plywood panels. Dukes pairs a solid wood frame with E0 plywood panels, and Lafarre also uses a solid wood frame. Laurel, Castor and Lafarre ship fully assembled. Laurel and Castor use concealed adjustable hinges, so you can fine-tune the doors after installation.

Mirrors, Medicine Cabinets, Tubs and Fixtures

• Medicine cabinets: Mesa and Corsica have dimmable LED lighting, a defogger and an interior electrical outlet. Bracciano adds a Bluetooth speaker and a digital clock and comes in eleven sizes. Lesina has dual soft-close doors in sizes up to 60 in W x 36 in H. Savera is the only model that can be recessed or surface-mounted, and it adds a Wi-Fi weather and humidity display.
• Mirrors: The Caldona LED mirror has a touchscreen, a defogger and a Bluetooth speaker. The Ziva has a wood frame in Dark Grey, Rustic Barnwood or White.
• Bathtubs: Lure, Vinter and Melina are freestanding acrylic flatbottom soaking tubs in 59 in or 67 in lengths, and Melina also comes in 63 in. Each comes with a pop-up drain and overflow already installed. You can pair one with the Lago, Mare or Cascata floor-mount tub filler, each with a handheld wand.
• Faucets and showers: The Monte and Labaro bathroom faucets are single-hole, and the Balduina is a widespread model. For showers, the Cero, Luviah, Monte Celo and Salamonio tub and shower sets use a solid brass pressure-balance valve. For the kitchen, there are four pull-down faucets: Lanuvio, Furio, Olivi and Garbatella.
• Accessories: The Bagno Nera, Bagno Lucido and Bagno Bianca lines include towel bars, robe hooks and toilet paper holders in SUS304 stainless steel. Choose one finish and carry it through the whole room.

Caring for Your Lexora Bathroom

Wipe countertops with a soft cloth and mild soap, and dry them afterward. Don't use abrasive pads on any top. On Carrara marble, also avoid acidic cleaners. Blot standing water along cabinet edges and the backsplash, and run the exhaust fan after showers to protect wood finishes. On LED mirrors and medicine cabinets, spray cleaner onto the cloth, not the glass. Stainless steel accessories and faucets only need a damp cloth and gentle soap.
