Product details
The A&L Furniture Hickory Porch Swing is a handcrafted outdoor porch swing made from real hickory sticks, slats, and arms, built in the USA by A&L Furniture Co. It comes in 4 ft and 5 ft sizes with chains included, in Rustic Hickory, Natural, or Walnut finishes, and weighs 38 lb (4 ft) or 45 lb (5 ft). Some assembly is required.
Handcrafted by A&L Furniture Co. in Rebersburg, Pennsylvania, the Hickory Porch Swing brings rustic charm to a covered porch, patio, or deck. It suits shoppers who want a classic swing seat with real wood character rather than a painted or synthetic look, and who need a size that matches their space: a 4 ft swing for a tighter porch corner, or a 5 ft swing when more than one person wants to sit comfortably side by side. Chains are included, so the swing arrives ready to hang once mounting hardware is in place, with no separate chain purchase needed.
Features
- Real hickory construction: built with real hickory sticks and rustic hickory slats and arms, not a composite or painted substitute.
- Hand-bent details: hickory sticks are steamed and hand bent, giving each swing its own unique look and character, so no two swings are identical.
- Two size options: 4 ft (50"W x 30"D x 30"H) and 5 ft (57"W x 30"D x 30"H) overall dimensions, so you can match the swing to the porch width you have.
- Comfortable seating: 4 ft inside seat measures 41"W x 17"D with a 23"H back; 5 ft inside seat measures 51"W x 17"D with a 23"H back.
- Chains included: hanging chains come with the swing, so hardware is on hand once you are ready to mount it.
- Three finish choices: Rustic Hickory, Natural Finish, or Walnut Finish, for matching existing porch trim or furniture.
- Handcrafted in the USA: made by A&L Furniture Co. rather than mass produced overseas.
- Matching accessories available: coordinating pieces are offered under items 1008, 1009, 1011, 1018, 1014, and 1024, for building out a full porch set.
A&L Furniture quality
A&L Furniture Co. is based in Rebersburg, Pennsylvania, and builds this swing as part of its TimberLux Hickory collection. Each piece uses real hickory sticks that are steamed and hand bent by hand, so the grain, bends, and texture vary from swing to swing, giving every piece its own individual character rather than a uniform, factory-stamped look.
Delivery and installation
This swing ships with its hanging chains included, so no separate hardware purchase is needed before mounting. Some assembly is required on arrival. The 4 ft swing weighs 38 lb and the 5 ft swing weighs 45 lb, which is worth noting when planning how it will be carried into place and secured to a porch ceiling or a freestanding swing stand.
