The Tovas/Caprese 5-Piece Dining Set brings a mid-century modern silhouette to the dining room, pairing a round pedestal table with four contemporary swivel chairs. It suits shoppers who want a complete dining setup for four in a single purchase, whether for an apartment dining nook, an open-concept kitchen, or a smaller dining room where a round table makes better use of the floor space than a rectangular one. The monochrome black finish on both the table base and chair upholstery keeps the look cohesive, so there is no need to coordinate a table and chairs from separate collections. The design leans on a reeded pedestal base and a bevelled, grain-forward table top to give the set a higher-end, designer-inspired look.

Worldwide Homefurnishings quality

Worldwide Homefurnishings builds this set from engineered wood with an oak veneer surface, giving the table top the look of solid wood grain while the reeded pedestal base is finished in a matching laminated veneer. The dining chairs carry that same black finish through to the faux leather upholstery and base, so the table and seating read as one designed collection rather than separately sourced pieces. The combination of a wood-grain table top with upholstered, swivel-seat chairs is intended to balance everyday durability with a more tailored, furnished look than a basic dining set.

Delivery and installation

This dining set is sold as a single piece and ships in 6 cartons, with a combined net weight of 175.8 lbs for the full set. Expect the table base, table top, and each of the four chairs to arrive as separate cartons that need to be unpacked and matched up before assembly begins. Assembly is required after delivery, so set aside time to put the pedestal base and table top together and to assemble each swivel chair before the set is ready for everyday dining use.
